Not competing with big players for investment keywords

When we started working with Grove Gallery, they were already a well-known name in the art world – they had a solid following on social media, successful PR campaigns, and a good history of data from PPC campaigns .

Once we looked into their Google Search Console, we could see that people could find their website when they searched for their artists, but not when they wanted to learn more about art investment.

Grove Gallery had an ambitious plan and wanted more people to find them by searching for investment-related keywords and competing with the other big players in their niche.

The solution

Creation of a strong content marketing and link building campaign

After a successful strategy meeting, our SEO strategist combined with our content team to create a comprehensive technical audit, keyword research and content strategy that targeted both general art gallery and alternative investment keywords.

In the first month of the campaign, we made technical SEO fixes across the website which included improving site speed, passing Core Web Vitals, restructuring website folders and implementing a new internal linking strategy.

After improving website performance and crawlability, we got to work on producing over 8,000 words of monthly content for service pages, blog posts and supporting pages targeting transactional keywords.

Additionally, we also had a full day with the sales team who took us through some of the most commonly asked questions and reasons as to why people are investing and who they are doing it for.

The client had some solid branded PR links in their backlink profile – so our outreach team worked with investment bloggers, and ran digital PR campaigns that got the client featured in authority publications such as Yahoo and Ideal Home.
